Porterville, CA (May 8, 2026) – Emergency services were dispatched Thursday night, May 7, following a four-vehicle collision near Road 232, south of Avenue 56, in the Porterville area. The precise time of the impact was not disclosed right away. According to the report, the collision resulted in serious injuries. Officials have yet to disclose the number of injured individuals or their medical conditions. Following the collision, one driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional offenses. No names were disclosed in the first report. The accident is still being investigated, and further information could emerge as officials proceed with their examination.
