A traffic collision was reported at about 11:02 a.m. Sept. 24 near the north on-ramp from The Alameda to southbound Interstate 880. The California Highway Patrol initially listed the injury status as unknown.
A later CHP update reported that one person was being transported to Kaiser Santa Clara for complaints involving the stomach and left knee. The dispatch information did not specify the person’s identity or provide additional details about the injuries.
The collision location was documented at the junction of southbound I-880 and The Alameda north on-ramp. CHP did not provide information about the vehicles involved, the direction of travel beyond the roadway designation, or whether any lanes were blocked.
The medical transport update was recorded at approximately 11:44 a.m. No further developments were included in the available CHP dispatch information.
