(Fullerton, CA) A man critically injured in a hit-and-run on Gilbert Street earlier this month has succumbed to his injuries, according to the Fullerton Police Department. Officers arrived on scene shortly after 10:23 p.m. on December. 20 to the intersection of South Gilbert Street and Carol Drive. When they arrived, they discovered the pedestrian seriously injured from being hit by a car that sped off, with the driver failing to stop. Paramedics rushed the victim to a trauma center in critical condition, where he stayed hospitalized until his death on Christmas morning. Police believe the suspect vehicle is a white, four-door sedan with front-end damage. The investigation is still underway as detectives keep searching for the driver.
