A collision with unknown injuries was reported Saturday evening on northbound Interstate 15 at the Railroad Canyon Road interchange in California. The incident was recorded at about 7:45 p.m. in the Temecula-area California Highway Patrol jurisdiction.
A vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene, according to a later CHP dispatch update. The update stated that the other parties had fled on foot.
A law enforcement unit was reported to be en route after the fleeing parties were reported. CHP dispatch information did not identify the vehicle or provide additional details about the people who left the scene.
The available dispatch information did not confirm whether anyone was injured or describe any lane closures or other traffic effects. The vehicle’s status at the scene was the latest documented development in the CHP update.
