On November 18, 2025, in Palmdale, California, a significant car crash near East Avenue Q resulted in several injuries and a substantial emergency response involving a county rescue helicopter and the California Highway Patrol. The accident happened at approximately 12:52 p.m. and included several patients requiring medical attention. Personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire and Sheriff’s Department reacted quickly, with Engine 37 leading the response efforts at the scene. Given the high number of injured people and the type of accident, officials asked for a county air unit to help with quick medical transport. The CHP was also summoned to the location to help control freeway traffic and aid in the investigation. A tow truck (Code 1185) was called to remove the damaged vehicle(s) from the road. Officials have not provided information about the number of vehicles involved or the specific conditions of the injured individuals, but the response suggests it was a serious collision.
