Vehicle-pedestrian collisions frequently cause severe injuries or fatalities, especially at busy streets and intersections. When investigating these accidents, officials usually inspect the road conditions, vehicle speeds, and visibility. Pedestrians should utilize crosswalks and remain vigilant for approaching vehicles, whereas drivers need to stay alert and slow down in zones where crossings may occur. Even without alcohol or drugs involved, accidents can happen rapidly due to restricted reaction time.
