A traffic collision involving an unknown number of injuries was reported Wednesday afternoon on eastbound State Route 237 near the Great America Parkway off-ramp. The incident was reported at about 3:37 p.m. in California Highway Patrol’s San Jose area.
The crash location was described as eastbound State Route 237 just west of Lafayette, near the Great America Parkway off-ramp. CHP dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or provide details about the roadway conditions.
A later CHP update, logged at about 3:46 p.m., stated that the other vehicle may have left the scene. The information did not include a description of that vehicle or indicate whether authorities had located it.
CHP listed the incident with injuries unknown. The dispatch information did not document ambulance or fire department involvement, lane closures, towing activity, or additional developments.
