On November 15, 2025, in East Oakland, a collision between a car and a bus resulted in at least one individual sustaining injuries on that particular Friday afternoon. The event took place at approximately 4:46 p.m. At the crossroads of International Blvd and 84th Ave, this led to an emergency services’ reaction. Paramedics promptly arrived to assist the wounded person. The individual involved in the accident received initial aid for the injuries they suffered, and was subsequently taken to a nearby medical facility for additional treatment. The status of the injured individual has not been disclosed. The accident led to considerable delays at the busy intersection as both the car and the bus stayed at the location while emergency services responded. Both vehicles sustained damage, and officials are working to clear the road and restore normal traffic flow. Investigators are looking into the cause of the accident. Factors like not yielding, being distracted, or timing issues at the intersection are being taken into account. No arrests or tickets have been reported, and the names of those involved have not been revealed yet. Our thoughts are with the injured person, and we wish them a complete and swift recovery.
