In Ramona, California, a 75-year-old man suffered severe injuries on November 25th, following a collision between his golf cart and a pickup truck on San Vicente Road. The accident took place at approximately 11:05 a.m., as per the California Highway Patrol. The man was driving a 2006 Club Car golf cart west on the eastbound side of San Vicente Road. Concurrently, a 30-year-old male from El Cajon was driving a Toyota Tundra east on the same section of road. The collision between the golf cart and the Toyota, which occurred for reasons currently under investigation, was reported by CHP officials as a head-on collision. The collision forced the golf cart driver out of the vehicle, resulting in severe injuries. The Ramona resident was rushed to Palomar Hospital for medical attention by the paramedics. The driver of the Toyota was unhurt. Officials stated that drugs and alcohol were not contributing factors in the accident.
