Oakley, CA (September 21, 2024) – On Thursday evening, a collision between two cars took place on Highway 4 close to Laurel Rd in Oakley, resulting in one individual sustaining injuries and needing medical attention. The accident was reported at approximately 4:57 p.m. As stated by the California Highway Patrol, first responders from Oakley Fire and Rescue quickly arrived at the location after the incident was reported. Emergency medical personnel provided assistance to the participants, and at least one person was taken to a local hospital for additional assessment. Both vehicles showed apparent damage, and the collision led to traffic interruptions in both lanes while emergency responders attended to the scene.
