Oakland, CA (December 30, 2025) – A 24-year-old woman suffered injuries in a head-on crash Saturday evening near East 31st St. in Oakland. The incident was reported at approximately 6:31 p.m. , according to dispatch communications from Alameda County medical teams. Responding paramedics reported that the woman was the restrained driver of a vehicle involved in a head-on collision with another car at estimated speeds of 45 to 50 miles per hour. During the crash, the airbags deployed, and the driver lost consciousness briefly before regaining consciousness. She complained of hip pain and was taken to Highland Hospital via code two trauma protocol. Even though there was an impact, her vital signs stayed stable, and she remained conscious with a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 14. The details of the crash are still being investigated, with no further injuries or vehicle information verified yet.
