On Friday evening, a traffic collision occurred in the Brookfield Village neighborhood of Oakland, CA (November 16, 2025), resulting in injuries. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene. The accident took place at the crossroads of 98th Avenue and Cary Court at approximately 5:54 p.m. Oakland Fire and Rescue responders quickly arrived at the incident and started providing medical assistance to the collision victims. A person was injured, but the severity of the injuries is yet to be officially verified. Ambulance services were called to take the injured person for additional treatment. The vicinity of 98th Ave and Cary Ct often sees heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic, particularly in the early evening. Emergency teams managed the situation and ensured safety while offering assistance and removing debris from the road. Officials have not disclosed information regarding the cause of the crash or the number of vehicles involved. An inquiry is ongoing to identify the causes of the accident.
