Northridge, CA (October 4, 2025) – A person was taken to the hospital on Thursday afternoon following a collision in which a car crashed into the front of a BMO Bank in Northridge. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the event occurred at approximately 3:30 PM. Emergency responders arrived at the 9000 block of Balboa Blvd. to discover that a car had slammed into the bank’s glass entrance, resulting in considerable damage to the front area. Firefighters evaluated the building’s structural soundness and verified that it was still secure. One individual was injured in the collision and was taken to a local hospital for additional care. There were no other injuries reported among the bank staff or patrons. Officials have not disclosed details about what led to the accident, however, the Los Angeles Fire Department is still conducting an investigation.
