A no-injury traffic collision was reported Sept. 24 on northbound U.S. 101 just south of Reese Circle. The incident was reported at approximately 1:11 p.m. in the Monterey-area California Highway Patrol jurisdiction.
The collision involved the northbound lanes near Reese Circle, according to the CHP dispatch information. The initial incident classification indicated that no injuries were reported.
A later CHP update at 3:28 p.m. stated that the number two lane was blocked. The dispatch did not provide an estimated time for when the lane would reopen.
