A traffic collision was reported at about 4:22 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, on northbound Interstate 680 near the Auto Mall Parkway off-ramp. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash location was described as northbound I-680 just south of Auto Mall Parkway. The incident was handled through the CHP’s Dublin area.
A dispatch update issued at 4:24 p.m. indicated that both vehicles were on the right-hand shoulder. The available information did not identify the vehicles or describe damage.
CHP’s initial classification continued to list the collision as non-injury in the available dispatch information. No additional roadway closures, emergency medical response or towing activity were documented in the provided updates.
