A no-injury collision was reported Aug. 19, 2026, on northbound Interstate 605 just south of the Arrow Highway eastbound on-ramp. The incident was reported at about 3:39 p.m. in the Baldwin Park CHP area.
A motorist told the California Highway Patrol that traffic was too heavy to leave the freeway. The motorist also said it was unclear whether the vehicle would start.
The dispatch information indicated that a second vehicle was away from the reporting party’s vehicle. CHP did not report injuries in connection with the collision.
The available dispatch update was recorded at about 3:45 p.m. No additional information about vehicle damage, lane closures or a tow response was provided.
