A traffic collision was reported at about 10:31 p.m. Sept. 14 on northbound Interstate 5 near the transition to westbound State Route 118 in California. An ambulance was reported en route to the scene.
The California Highway Patrol described the location as northbound I-5 just south of State Route 118. Dispatch information indicated that the crash involved a vehicle or vehicles traveling from northbound I-5 toward the State Route 118 transition.
The collision caused damage to a guardrail, according to a CHP update issued at about 10:39 p.m. The dispatch information did not specify the number or types of vehicles involved.
