An incident initially described as a possible traffic collision was reported on northbound Interstate 15 just north of Rainbow Glen Road on Oct. 31, 2026. The California Highway Patrol received the report at about 3:51 p.m. and listed the injuries as unknown at that time.
A subsequent notification indicated that the reporting party had advised there was no traffic collision. The update was logged by CHP at about 3:57 p.m.
The same notification stated that assistance was already on the way. The dispatch information did not identify the nature of the assistance or provide further details about any vehicle involved.
The incident location was recorded in the Oceanside CHP area along northbound I-15 near the Rainbow Glen Road undercrossing. No injuries, lane closures or additional roadway impacts were documented in the available CHP updates.
