A traffic collision was reported Thursday afternoon on northbound State Route 51 just south of Arden Way in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash was logged at approximately 3:39 p.m. on Aug. 20, 2026. The location was described as northbound Highway 51 just south of the Arden Way area.
A later CHP update at about 3:58 p.m. stated that it was unknown whether other vehicles were still involved. The dispatch information did not provide additional vehicle descriptions or identify a specific cause.
The incident was handled within the CHP’s North Sacramento area. The available dispatch record did not report injuries, lane closures, overturned vehicles, fires or towing activity.
