A traffic collision was reported on northbound State Route 17 just south of Blossom Hill Road in San Jose on September 19, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as involving unknown injuries.
The crash was reported at about 3:49 p.m. The location was identified as the northbound side of the highway near the Blossom Hill Road interchange.
A vehicle was reported in the left-hand shoulder following the collision. CHP later noted that the vehicle was not visually confirmed at that time.
