A traffic collision was reported at about 5:19 p.m. Nov. 6 on northbound State Route 9 near Irwin Way in California. The California Highway Patrol identified the incident as occurring in the Santa Cruz area.
The initial dispatch classification indicated a collision involving a possible injury, with an ambulance reported to be en route. No vehicle descriptions or additional information about the people involved was provided.
At approximately 5:40 p.m., CHP updated the incident classification to a traffic collision with no injuries reported. The update replaced the earlier notification that had indicated an ambulance response.
