North Highlands, CA (September 6, 2025) – Early Saturday morning, paramedics and emergency personnel responded to a traffic accident involving injuries at the intersection of Madison Ave and Main Ave in North Highlands. The event took place shortly after midnight, around 12:08 a.m. resulting in a swift emergency reaction. When they got there, medical personnel evaluated several people who were part of the accident. At least one individual was injured and was treated on-site before being taken to a local hospital for a more detailed assessment. The cars involved exhibited signs of significant damage, and debris was spread across the intersection. Madison and Main were partially obstructed as fire personnel and police worked to secure the site, manage traffic, and initiate their investigation into the accident’s cause. The exact number of vehicles involved has yet to be confirmed, and there has been no official communication about potential factors like speed, impairment, or failure to yield. Local officials are still looking into the matter and are encouraging anyone with information or dashcam footage to reach out to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
