The initial location description placed the collision in the westbound lanes on the bridge. CHP did not report any injuries associated with the incident.
A later dispatch update at 2:28 p.m. said a big rig had been moved off the bridge and was on the right-hand shoulder. The update indicated that the vehicle was no longer blocking the bridge itself.
