The CHP location entry placed the crash on southbound I-405 just south of Rosecrans Avenue. A subsequent dispatch update referenced Marine Avenue as the site of the collision.
The incident was handled by the CHP’s West Los Angeles area, according to the dispatch information. The available report did not identify the vehicles involved or describe any lane closures or other roadway effects.
