A traffic collision was reported Aug. 31, 2026, on eastbound State Route 36 at Fredonyer Summit in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision without reported injuries.
The crash location was identified as the eastbound roadway at a 20-mph curve near mile marker 12.50. CHP listed the incident within the Susanville area.
The dispatch information did not report injuries, vehicle descriptions, lane closures or other roadway restrictions. It also did not provide details about what led to the collision.
