A hit-and-run incident was reported Sept. 19, 2026, near Bailey Road in Contra Costa County. The incident was logged at about 3:42 p.m. in the parking area associated with a Round Table Pizza location.
The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a hit-and-run with no reported injuries. Dispatch information indicated that the vehicle involved remained drivable after the incident.
A follow-up CHP update at about 3:44 p.m. confirmed that no injuries were reported. The available dispatch information did not identify the vehicle or provide details about the other party involved.
The report was handled by the CHP Contra Costa area. No lane closures, ambulance response or towing request were noted in the available dispatch updates.
