On Sunday evening, a significant traffic collision occurred near the intersection of Vine Lane and Highway 26 in Tracy, CA, which involved two to three vehicles and resulted in five individuals sustaining injuries, as per emergency response officials. The accident was reported at approximately 6:29 p.m. Emergency teams from Tracy (South County) Fire, several fire engines, and paramedic units arrived at the location. At least one vehicle was said to have been pushed into an orchard, raising initial worries about potential entrapment. Medics at the location confirmed that there were five patients needing assessment and care. An extra Advanced Life Support unit was called for because of the numerous injuries, but there were no specific reports on each individual’s state. The teams focused on securing the site, examining the injured, and controlling traffic near the location. The reason for the crash is still being examined.
