A tragic incident occurred on Monday evening in Fresno, CA, where Nathan Torres, a 15-year-old boy, sadly lost his life in a crash on Olive Avenue, leaving his family and community in grief. The accident happened on September 29, shortly before 6:00 p.m. Fresno police went to the intersection of Olive Avenue and Angus Street following reports of an accident between a car and a young person. Upon arrival, the officers discovered Nathan Torres with serious injuries. Ambulance crews quickly transported him to Community Regional Medical Center. Despite attempts to save his life, doctors declared him deceased shortly after he arrived. Officials stated that Torres, a McLane High School student, was riding in the westbound No. 1 lane of Olive Avenue when he was hit by the vehicle. Authorities verified that the driver remained at the location and assisted with the inquiry. Authorities stated that it seems alcohol and drugs are not contributing factors. The investigation into the Olive Avenue collision is still ongoing. The family of Torres has created a GoFundMe account to assist with funeral costs.
