A traffic collision was reported at about 7:05 a.m. Sept. 7 on Beckett Drive in the California Highway Patrol’s Placerville area. CHP classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The dispatch information identified the location as 2321 Beckett Drive. It did not provide descriptions of the vehicles involved, details about the roadway position, or information indicating that lanes were blocked.
A later update at about 7:55 a.m. relayed information from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office and stated that there were no officer-safety concerns associated with the response. No additional emergency response or medical treatment was documented in the available CHP information.
The same update referred to a suspicious-circumstances call from July involving three men wearing orange vests. CHP did not provide further information connecting that earlier report to the Beckett Drive collision.
