Modesto, CA (January 8, 2026) – Local fire dispatch reports indicate that a car crash near the Claus Rd and Sylvan Ave intersection caused at least one injury on Tuesday afternoon. The crash happened around 4:54 p.m. on the 6th of January. Engine 9 and personnel from Station 9 were sent as initial responders to the incident. Early reports suggested that one or more people were injured in the crash, leading to a medical response. The precise number of vehicles involved and the reason for the collision remain unconfirmed. Emergency responders attended to the injured person, providing assessment and treatment while securing the scene. Officials are still probing the event to uncover the cause of the crash.
