Mission Viejo, CA (January 18, 2026) – Officials responded late Friday night to an injury-involved traffic crash at the Santa Margarita Parkway and Marguerite Parkway intersection in Mission Viejo. The crash happened around 10:24 p.m. On 17 January. Emergency responders arrived and discovered one or more people injured from the crash. Medical staff provided on-site treatment to the injured and likely took at least one individual to a nearby hospital for additional assessment. The severity of injuries remains unconfirmed, and authorities haven’t disclosed information on the number of vehicles involved or the crash’s cause. Traffic was briefly disrupted in the area while crews cleared the site and launched an investigation. We extend our best wishes to the injured and hope for their complete recovery.
