A minor-injury collision was reported Aug. 20 on southbound U.S. 101 just south of the Coyote Creek Golf Drive off-ramp in California. The incident was logged at 2:07 p.m. in the California Highway Patrol’s Hollister-Gilroy area.
CHP identified the location as the southbound roadway near the off-ramp. The dispatch information classified the incident as a traffic collision involving minor injuries, but did not provide details about the vehicles or the people involved.
A later CHP update, recorded at 3:46 p.m., indicated that a towing provider was requested to handle the vehicle involved. The request was made as an owner-requested service rather than through the standard rotation process.
