A major-injury traffic collision was reported Aug. 22 near mile marker 20 in the California Highway Patrol’s Ukiah area. The incident was logged at about 1:29 p.m., with the location listed along the westbound roadway near mile marker 20.
CHP classified the crash as involving major injuries, but the dispatch information did not specify how many people were hurt or describe the injuries. It also did not identify the vehicles involved.
A towing driver was reported to be nearly at the scene in a later update received at about 4:42 p.m. The dispatch did not provide the name of the towing service.
No lane closures, traffic delays, fire response or ambulance transportation details were included in the available CHP updates. The final dispatch information focused on the approaching towing response.
