Lower Lake, CA (September 10, 2025) – On Monday afternoon, a fatal head-on collision took place on Highway 29 close to Lower Lake, resulting in at least one fatality and leading to a comprehensive investigation by the California Highway Patrol. The incident was reported around 2:36 p.m. close to mile marker 12.91. Initial reports indicate that two cars crashed into each other head-on, although the specific reasons for the accident are still unknown. After the collision, one of the vehicles is said to have flipped over. Emergency personnel quickly arrived at the location and started providing assistance to the individuals affected.
