Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, CA (March 16, 2026) – A motorcyclist sustained injuries in a collision on Saturday evening, March 14, at the Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Mulholland Drive intersection. Emergency responders arrived at approximately 8:43 p.m. Following reports of a crash between a motorcycle and a black minivan at the busy intersection, responders aided the injured rider on-site before taking them to a nearby hospital. Authorities have not disclosed the rider’s current condition. Footage from the scene revealed extensive damage to the motorcycle and noticeable harm to the involved minivan. The incident is still being investigated, with more information possibly emerging as officials conduct their ongoing review. Our thoughts are with the injured rider as they get medical treatment and recover. Why Do Motorcycle Accidents Happen So Often at Intersections? Intersections like Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Mulholland Drive pose risks from turning vehicles. In Los Angeles, when injuries are reported, crews typically work to maintain traffic flow while handling the scene. Motorcycles, being smaller than most vehicles, can be more difficult for drivers to spot in traffic. When vehicles approach an intersection from various directions, drivers might misjudge the distance or speed of an oncoming motorcycle.
