Los Angeles, CA (January 7, 2026) – A pedestrian suffered injuries in a collision on 6th Street in Los Angeles on Monday evening, triggering a joint emergency response from police and fire departments. The incident was reported at approximately 5:30 p.m. First responders were positioned near the scene to organize medical aid. Dispatch audio indicates that Los Angeles Police Department officers were already present when fire crews were notified. The responding units called for ambulance assistance because of the severity of the pedestrian’s injuries. Emergency medical services were positioned close by and subsequently advanced to deliver treatment. Information about the crash’s circumstances—such as the vehicle type and whether the driver stayed at the scene—remains unconfirmed. It’s still unclear if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk or walking along the roadway at the time of impact. Responding units handled the scene effectively to ensure medical attention and traffic safety in the vicinity.
