Los Angeles, CA (January 14, 2026) – The California Highway Patrol (West Valley division) reported that a pedestrian was hurt in a traffic crash Tuesday morning on the southbound Interstate 405 at the Roscoe Boulevard off-ramp. The event took place around 9:55 a.m. On January 13, CHP dispatchers reported that emergency medical services were en route after reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the area. First responders arrived soon after and tended to the injured person. The severity of the injuries remains unconfirmed, although the incident was deemed a major traffic collision. Traffic in the vicinity faced temporary disruptions while emergency personnel aided the victim and examined the scene. The driver stayed at the scene, though more information about the crash’s cause is not yet available. Officials are still looking into the matter.
