Los Angeles, CA (December 26, 2025) – A pedestrian suffered injuries Thursday evening after being struck by a vehicle near the Vermont Ave and West 58th St intersection in South Los Angeles. The incident was reported at around 5:10 p.m. On December 25, dispatch audio indicates that police and medical units responded under a code 3 emergency, signaling the need for lights-and-sirens urgency. An ambulance was called to the scene to aid the injured person, but officials have yet to disclose information about the severity of the injuries or the details surrounding the crash. Authorities have not verified if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time or if the driver stayed on site. The cause of the collision is being investigated.
