Los Angeles, CA (January 5, 2026) – A collision involving two vehicles in Los Angeles’ Westmont neighborhood sent one person to the hospital late Saturday night, per the California Highway Patrol. The incident took place at approximately 10:35 p.m. On January 4, close to the Vermont Avenue and 104th Street intersection. Although both vehicles were involved in the incident, the precise sequence of events leading to the crash remains undetermined. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and rendered assistance to one person injured in the accident. The individual was taken to a nearby hospital for additional medical care. The severity of their injuries has not been disclosed publicly. Traffic in the area faced a short disruption while crews cleared the vehicles and carried out an initial investigation. The California Highway Patrol is still examining the factors behind the crash. We wish the injured party a swift and complete recovery.
