Los Angeles, CA (April 24, 2026) – A fatal two-vehicle collision in East Los Angeles’ Boyle Heights neighborhood claimed one life on Friday morning. The crash was reported at approximately 5:44 a.m. At the corner of E 4th St and S Clarence St, emergency units arrived to discover a heavily damaged sedan and a truck at the scene. Officials reported that the sedan hit a power pole following the first crash. One individual was declared dead on site. A second individual from the crash was evaluated for injuries but refused hospital transport. The deceased person’s identity has not been disclosed yet. No further information has been released regarding the circumstances of the crash. Officials are still probing the incident’s cause, with additional updates to follow once available.
