Los Angeles, CA (January 13, 2026) – Two individuals were hurt on January 11 after a crash between a motorcycle and a car on southbound US 101 at the eastbound State Route 134 connector. The incident took place at approximately 1:16 p.m. In the Los Angeles area, this prompted a response from California Highway Patrol and local emergency crews. CHP logs indicate the motorcycle was found lying in the fast lane following an apparent collision with a second vehicle. Initial reports indicate the crash might have resulted from a hazardous lane change, leading to the riders being ejected from the motorcycle. Paramedics provided on-site treatment to both victims before transferring them for additional medical attention. Their conditions have not been disclosed, but there were no reported fatalities. The incident resulted in temporary lane closures and traffic backups on the southbound 101 and the SR-134 connector. Officers stayed at the scene to control traffic and investigate the events preceding the crash. The CHP is still looking into the incident and has not issued any citations or charges.
