LAPD’s Valley Bureau dispatch audio revealed that an ambulance was summoned to the scene after the incident, which took place around 10:40 PM. Authorities reported that a white older model van left the scene after colliding with another vehicle. Emergency services acted quickly under Code 3 protocols, indicating a critical emergency given the serious injuries reported. First responders, such as paramedics, evaluated and provided treatment to at least one individual injured at the scene of the accident. The victim’s current status has not been made public, but the requirement for ambulance transport indicates that the injuries are likely moderate to severe. The suspect vehicle, identified as an older white van, was last observed leaving the area around Hatteras St and Louise Ave. Law enforcement is currently looking into the case as a felony hit-and-run, with examination of surveillance footage from nearby intersections underway. The local traffic experienced temporary disruptions while emergency teams ensured the safety of the area and initiated their initial investigation. Currently, the driver involved in the incident is still unidentified.
