Los Angeles, CA (February 1, 2026) – A hit-and-run crash that injured victims occurred Saturday evening in Los Angeles’ Westlake area. The event took place at about 9:15 p.m. On January 31, near 107 South Rampart Boulevard, emergency crews promptly responded to aid the injured, although the number of people hurt and the severity of their injuries remain unconfirmed. Medics delivered on-site medical care prior to transporting at least one person for additional treatment. Officials stated that the driver responsible for the crash escaped the scene prior to police arrival. Investigators have not released any description of the suspect vehicle and are working diligently to identify those responsible. Hit-and-run cases such as this are handled with utmost seriousness, especially those involving injuries. The crash took place in a heavily populated area of Westlake, where pedestrian and vehicle traffic stays heavy well into the evening. Our thoughts are with the individuals injured in this incident.
