Los Angeles, CA (September 22, 2025) – An early Sunday morning hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Wilshire Blvd and Vermont Ave resulted in at least one injury and prompted a Code 3 emergency response from the LAPD and paramedics. The event took place around 3:53 a.m. and included a serious hit-and-run offense. Emergency radio communications indicate that after the crash, the suspect escaped in a white Toyota 4Runner. The accident caused injuries that were serious enough to necessitate an ambulance at the location. Officers from the LAPD’s Central Division began searching the vicinity for the vehicle of the suspect who fled, while medical personnel attended to the injured individuals. The overall count of injured individuals and the severity of their wounds have yet to be disclosed. Wilshire Blvd experienced a temporary disruption while emergency responders managed the situation. An investigation into the felony hit-and-run incident is still in progress, with law enforcement actively following leads to find the suspect.
