Los Angeles, CA (January 26, 2026) – A hit-and-run crash at the E 7th St and S Central Ave intersection in Los Angeles early on January 26 left a motorcyclist injured. The incident took place at approximately 5:53 a.m. which prompted an emergency response from medical and law enforcement personnel. Upon arriving, responders found the injured rider and administered medical care on-site. The severity of the injuries has not been publicly confirmed yet. The vehicle’s driver allegedly fled the scene prior to authorities arriving. Officials briefly disrupted the vicinity of E 7th St and S Central Ave during on-site assessments and evidence collection. The hit-and-run is under investigation as a felony traffic violation. Officials are working diligently to identify the driver who fled the scene.
