Los Angeles, CA (January 25, 2026) – Los Angeles Fire and Rescue emergency crews responded early Saturday morning to an injury crash at a bustling intersection close to LAX. The event took place at approximately 1:11 a.m. On January 24, at the La Tijera Blvd and Airport Blvd intersection, a vehicle collision triggered a swift emergency response. Paramedics arrived and offered medical aid to at least one crash victim. The injured person was evaluated on-site and taken to a local hospital for additional assessment. The full severity of the injuries hasn’t been disclosed yet, but responders noted various traumas indicative of a major collision. Officials shut down traffic in the vicinity temporarily as crews cleared the area and launched an inquiry into the crash’s cause. The specifics of how the collision happened and the number of vehicles involved remain unconfirmed. The identities of those involved have not been released pending the ongoing investigation and notification of their families.
