Los Angeles, CA (October 13, 2025) – Early Monday morning, a hit-and-run traffic accident causing injuries was reported near W 85th St in South Los Angeles. The accident occurred at approximately 1:49 a.m. This triggered a Code 3 emergency response from LAPD South Bureau units and medical staff. Early reports suggest that at least one individual sustained injuries in the event, leading to a request for an ambulance to be sent to the location. Emergency responders reached the location promptly to evaluate and provide care to the wounded individual, but the complete details of the injuries are still not available. It has been reported that the driver who caused the accident left the scene prior to the arrival of the police. Authorities are in the process of identifying the suspect and understanding the circumstances surrounding the accident. At this moment, no information has been provided regarding the injured person. The inquiry is still ongoing. We wish for a quick healing for the injured individual and urge anyone with knowledge to support the local authorities.
