Long Beach, CA (May 19, 2026) – A collision between a white Tesla and a semi-truck shut down lanes on southbound Interstate 710 near Long Beach Boulevard early Tuesday morning. The crash was first reported at about 2:48 a.m. The Tesla ended up stopped in the median, while the semi came to a halt on the right shoulder. A car hauler was also in the slow lane, along with two other vehicles. An air ambulance was sent to the incident. Emergency responders spoke with the Tesla’s driver and a witness at the scene. The Tesla was towed away from the freeway, and the semi driver was helped off the road. The highway was said to be clear once the cars had been towed away. Details on any injuries have not yet been confirmed. The incident is still under review by authorities, and further information will be released as it becomes available.
