The event took place at approximately 10:15 p.m. This triggered an immediate emergency response following reports that a female cyclist had been hit and was unconscious at the scene. Dispatch audio indicated that the injured bicyclist showed irregular breathing upon first responders’ arrival. Firefighters and paramedics delivered immediate medical attention on the scene, swiftly stabilizing her condition. The driver initially thought to have fled the scene was later confirmed to have stayed nearby as authorities performed initial assessments. Traffic in the area faced temporary disruptions while crews operated near the intersection, located in a heavily trafficked corridor of the city. The bicyclist’s current condition has not been revealed, with more details on her injuries anticipated as the investigation continues. Local police are still examining the details of the crash.
