Long Beach, CA (October 2, 2025) – On Wednesday afternoon, a vehicle collided with a scooter, causing injuries near the intersection of East 7th Street and North Bellflower Boulevard, as indicated by fire dispatch reports. The incident was reported around 5:02 PM. Emergency responders were dispatched after receiving information about a traffic accident in the Area 14 Bravo zone involving a scooter rider being hit by a vehicle. Paramedics quickly arrived to provide assistance, evaluating and treating the injured scooter rider at the scene before transferring them to a local medical facility. The severity of the injuries has not been verified yet. Authorities are also looking into the details surrounding the accident. Details about the driver of the vehicle involved have not been disclosed, nor have any citations been reported. Traffic was impacted in the vicinity while crews provided emergency assistance and cleared the road.
